Born in 1960 I've been married twice. In February 1982 to Nigel BLODWELL and in 2006 to Barrie Andrew CREE.

My interest in family history started a few years ago when I did some research into the BLODWELL name and resurfaced again recently and become quite a passion. My father's family name is ORWIN so at least with connections to these names I have an easier time than with the name SMITH.

I have started to put my BLODWELL, SMITH and ORWIN research into this website and have many more wills that need transcribing and adding. You will find alll the entries for BLODWELL in the BMD and in many of the Shropshire Parish Registers now added to the site. I have also started to do some research into the BLADWELL name as there does seem to be a link with Blodwell, check my link on the Rector of Balsham and a great article I received from the National Library of Wales Journal. Recently I’ve also discovered a link with a BLOODWELL line in the US so will be adding this variant to my research as well.

Having gathered alot of information I have now registered the name BLODWELL with the Guild of One-Name Studies and am happy to share any of the information I have with any interested parties.
